Youth Ministry at
Marlton UMC

Together, we’re learning what it means to love God, to love ourselves, and to love each other.  It’s a safe place to ask questions, make mistakes, and to learn from each other.  You are always welcome to come and grow with us.

Youth Programs

There are certain things that make Christmas really feel like Christmas, right? Christmas trees, holly, candy canes, nativity sets, that one Christmas album your family can’t get enough of . . . oh! And angels. If you pay attention, you’ll find them everywhere this Christmas season. They’re on Christmas trees, ornaments, and greeting cards. They’re in Christmas carols, movies, and nativity sets. And they’re all over the pages of Scripture, too. That’s because angels played an important role in the very first Christmas. Together, we’ll see why the messages the angels shared back then still matter today — like the message that God’s timing is always right, that Jesus is always good news, and that we can always share God’s story.

Middle School Youth Group
4:00 - 6:00 PM Sundays

This is for youth in grades 6th - 8th. We meet Sunday evenings in Pastor Alyssa’s office to dive into scripture, engage in conversations, and wrestle with how we can live out our faith in our daily lives.  Each week we gather together to eat, to laugh, and to grow!

High School Youth group

This is for youth in grades 9th - 12th. We are shifting into a relational model where they schedule time to meet individually with Pastor Alyssa and the youth leaders for coffee, dinner, video games, hiking, and more!

Confirmation

Confirmation is the public act of acceptance of the Christian faith for students who attend Marlton United Methodist Church. Through Confirmation, students have the opportunity to ask questions, explore their faith, learn more about God, and serve others. At the end of the journey, students are invited to make a commitment to Christ and to become a full member of our church family.

special events

Retreats, Mission Trips, Service Projects, Lock-Ins, Fundraisers, and Fellowship Events.  Sure, we have a good time, but we are also learning what it means to live in community.  Through these events, we are stretched, challenged, nurtured, and encouraged.

We are planning a Mission Trip to Vermont this year! More information coming soon!

Youth Note

We send an email just for parents every month. It’s packed with information on our ministry and on how to be a more awesome parent of your youth.
