MINISTRIES

Women's Ministry     "Women In The Spirit"

Women in the Spirit is comprised of women of all ages who are either members or friends of the church family, or from the surrounding community.  Ever growing and moving in the Spirit, WITS holds regular monthly meetings on alternating Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings, and hosts annually a spiritual weekend retreat, a community prayer breakfast, and a group outing to the Women of Faith conference in Philadlelphia.

Men's Ministry      "Ammo"

Active Marlton Men's Outreach ministry's focus is on growth of fellowship with the men in our church while creating an environment that is easy to invite other men.  We try to make most of our events open to children as well.  Our main goal is to unite and strengthen men through a wide variety of activities including service projects to the community, sports related functions, and attending Christian Men's Confernces to grow our walk in Christ.  Through this we can open a portal into the community that will allow us to spread God's Word.  This group is open to all men and they are encouraged to bring their friends, brothers, and co-workers.

Youth Ministry      "The Underground"

GET SOMEWHERE-of importance, BE SOMEBODY-of influence, DO SOMETHING-of significance.

The Underground Youth Group at Marlton United Methodist church is a place where the youth of our community can come to draw closer to God as well as grow in relationship with the people around them. We want to provide a setting where young people feel comfortable to have fun and where God is at the center of all we do!

We have three groups that meet throughout the course of the week. Impact, for 3rd-5th grades meets every Tuesday from 5:30 pm -6:45pm. Axis, for 6th-8th grades meets every Sunday from 6:00 pm -7:30 pm, and Found for 9th-12th grades, meets every Sunday from 7:30 pm -9:00 pm.

We would love to see you in the Underground.  Feel free to bring your friends and come ready to have a good time and experience God in new ways.  To keep up to date with what is happening,  Like us on Facebook at The Underground @ MUMC!

We Care Ministry

Prayer Ministry

Our Prayer ministry Team is made up of men and women with a commitment and a passion to pray for the needs of others.  We pray because Jesus prayed, and so, as He did, we talk intimately with our Father to develop a relationship with Him trusting in His answers.  We pray for general concerns of our community, our country, our world, our military, etc.  Also, we pray intercessory prayers for our church family, friends, visitors, those in need financially, physically, or emotionally.  Our goals are to continue to pray for each other, for our pastors, to become more of a praying church, and to deepen our relationship with Christ.

Missions

At MUMC we are actively involved in missions. There are different opportunities through which you can connect to missions. You can participate…

By volunteering for the Kid’s Alley Saturday Program, or supporting their back to school blitz, or supporting their Christmas Rally or by participating in our outreach to the Kid’s Alley community or...

By serving as we act as a support church in the Interfaith Hospitality Network, a sheltering program that offers help to homeless families in Burlington County, or…

By providing casseroles for the Christian Caring Center that are used to feed needy folks in our local area or…

By participating in a food drive to help fill the shelves of local food pantries, or…

By visiting our Upper Room Café and drinking the coffee served there to support the UMCOR Coffee Project. Fair Trade products at a fair price to improve the quality of life of the small coffee growers, their families and their communities around the globe, or…

By going on a missions trip like our most recent trip to the New Orleans area where a team worked with Habitat for Humanity helping to rebuild the Katrina-ravaged area.
