We're Glad Your Here       Membership

Perhaps you are new to this whole church thing and are not sure what to expect. First of all, let us say, “We’re glad you’re here.” We want you to feel comfortable. Here’s what a typical Sunday might look like:

As you drive into the church parking lot you will find parking spaces especially for our visitors.  Handicap access is through the Discipleship Center (double doors) on the left with the elevator to the right.  The entrance to the Sanctuary is to the right.

You will quickly notice that we love kids!  If you brought yours and need to have them cared for so that you can focus on worship, we have a staffed Nursery and Children's Church at the servcies.  After registering you will be able to drop your children off and pick them up in either the nursery classrooms (0-4yrs) or in Children's Church (age 5-4th grade).

As you enter our Worship Center you will be welcomed by one of our greeters where they will hand you a bulletin that contains the order of worhsip and information about Marlton United Methodist Church's upcoming events.

Our Worship Team and Band will start the contemporary service. While the choir, bells or organist begins our traditional worship.  People dress up and dress down as you will see.  There is a large screen which will highlight the words of the songs, videos and notes for the day's sermon.

The message from God's Word at both services will inspire you and be filled with practical applications to use in everyday life.

After the sermon at each of our services the congregation is given the opportunity to come forward for prayer for any kind of need, or just to have personal prayer time.  During each of our worship services we give people the opportunity to respond to God by gathering an offering.  The offering that takes place is a time for our committed members and regular attendees to respond to God for the blessings He has given them.  We encourage you to simply come and be our guest; no strings attached.

After the service the atmosphere is filled with people sharing in conversation.  They are interested in getting to know you and making you feel welcome.  We also have an Upper Room Cafe after our 8:30 a.m. worship service in the upper level, Family Life Center.  We invite you come and enjoy a time of light refreshments and fellowship.

The Pastors would love to greet you on your way out and a gift waits for you at the Welcome Center.  Thank you for visiting with us.  We are always happy to welcome new people.  Jesus has made a difference in our lives and we would love to have you experience God's love as well.

Marlton United Methodist Church Welcomes You to Worship with us each Sunday during the summer at 9:30 a.m. only.  Starting in September services go back to 8:30 & 11:00 a.m.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership at MUMC is an intentional process designed to move you from simply attending church to becoming fully involved in all aspects of our mission--to Love God, Serve Others, and Share Your Story. These deliberate steps will help you understand your commitment as a member of MUMC and our commitment to you as a church family.

Our Membership process begins with MUMC Connection. Here you can get acquainted with MUMC and what makes us unique. We will share with you our purpose and our goals for anyone seeking to be a part of a church that focuses on others. This is also a great time for you to determine what the next step should be in your relationship with God, think about your direction in life and get moving in your spiritual journey.
