Journaling as Prayer

  • MUMC Community Hub (map)

“Raise your hand if you feel like your prayer life could be better.” Pastors, seminary students, church members, youth, and many other groups have been asked this question and there is always an overwhelming number of uplifted hands. Prayer sometimes seems elusive and difficult. Somehow we just are doing it right. In truth, God just wants us to join in the conversation.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to explore additional ways to prayer or to be more comfortable in your prayers. This workshop is a chance to look at journaling as a means to pray and given a chance to try it out.

Everything you need will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own pen, writing journal and Bible.

Come and be refreshed.

This workshop will be held at the MUMC Community Hub
